Oh wow I know that whole poem by heart. I wasn't born in India but almost most of the time it really saddens me and makes me think lots.

Came by via - Madhushaalaa, and ended up browsing other stuff my 2cents...

Interesting comment about your "Country" and why it is still not "FREE"
(Backwards 1...10)

1. Do you hold yourself responsible for running away and not fighting for your rights?
2. Have you observed anything different in the - American Culture, that disproves the notion - Might is right... (in whatever form)?
3. Have you really seen the underbelly of American Society, that is intolerant of anything and everything that is not Eurocentric? Do you know what being secular means here?
4. Are you for real man? The last I heard there are and were more women of influence in Indian politics than there are or have been in the US. Don't confuse the status of women in soceity with crimes against them!
5.Jingoism... Ever heard of the songs the Marines sing in bootcamp?
6. Where do we start with the Democrats / Republicans / Independents...from local wards to US Senate they are all corrupt, how long since you picked up a newspaper?
7.So you really know the state of the judicial system in the US, it takes 30years to enforce the death penalty to - Stanley Williams in California, while Mr.Manson lives happily ever after in the same state for the same crime... Duh?
8. Man you really studying management or what? Where don't politicians make the LAW?
9. Did you missing reading the newspaper reports about the Daley adminstration for the past year or are you new to Chicago?
10. BY THE WAY DID YOU ALSO MISS THE DEBATE GOING ON RIGHT NOW - INTELLIGENT DESIGN VS EVOLUTION, IN CONTEXT OF THE CONSTITUTION?

Don't tell me the Indian education system is taking it's lead from the US, last I knew it was Indians in India that put there foot in their mouth when talking about India. Didn't know the malady has spread to Indians in the US also. So now we have to deal with an - "AMRIKAN", JUST THE WAY THE BRITS HAD TO DEAL WITH THE - "BURRA SAHIB".

Dude let me guess you bleed COKE, PEPSI, or RED BULL (in no particular order except alphabetical... I know you management types...micro...) when cut...

The mystery is that you filed that under "English Literature"? Yes, it is in English but literature? A better category would be "Random Silly New-agey Novel."
